John Heinemann is a US Policy Manager at Paradigm. Previously, John was Deputy Chief Oversight Counsel for the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. His investigations supported Members of Congress by providing deep insight into a wide range of policy issues before the Committee relating to crypto and fintech. Prior to working for Congress, John was a Management Analyst for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He has also worked as a regulatory advisory consultant for Grant Thornton, where he chaired his practice group’s FinTech working group, and Promontory Financial Group. John holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and B.A. from College of Idaho.
